IT'S FINALLY HERE! TARGET SUMMER BEAUTY BAG

So a few weeks ago I found out that target would be sending out free sample bags to people who requested their summer beauty bag on their face book page. They had a few thousand of bags available so I quickly signed up and today it arrived and this is what I got...

Inside of the box was: Aveeno smart essentials daily detoxifying scrub, Tresemme  split remedy shampoo and conditioner, packet of Garnier Fructis color shield fortifying shampoo and conditioner, Neutrogena's Ultra Sheer dry-touch sunblock and and one application card of Revlon's Color Burst lip butter in "peach parfait". The samples were inside of the cutest little blue makeup bag.

I must say the bag was my favorite part of it all, I placed it near a lipstick for you to get a better feel of the size. kinda cute huh....

Wet n Wild does it

I'm not sure if everyone is aware of this but Wet n Wild Mega Last lipsticks are amazing. First off there $1.99 second off there incredibly pigmented. While on random trip to Rite aid I happen to catch all Wet N Wild cosmetics for 40% off so I picked up four lippies and boy am I pleased.

They're nicely pigmented and go on smoothly.....

color names in order: 968 pinkerbell,969 24 carrot gold, 970 purty persimmon and 903c just peachy

The first three are new shades....I love them so much that I have decided that I must go back and get more. If you haven't tried them I encourage you to at least pick up one and give it a try. 

THE BODY SHOP'S HONEY AND OAT 3 IN 1 SCRUB MASK

Oh December how I love thee! Why do I love it so you ask? well because a few great things happen in december, its  the ending of the fall college semester then right after that christmas but the most important thing of all  POST CHRISTMAS SALES. I purchased the body shops honey and oat mask without having ever tried any of their products before and was pleasantly surprised. This mask claims to polish cleans and moisturize and for fifty percent off the original price  of $16. 50 I gave it a try. As you see I posted a pic of what the mask looks like, it has a grainy sort of texture... 

but it doesn't feel at all coarse which is probably because they use oat grains as the granules. The mask feels like a thick body butter, which claimed to polish, cleanse and moisturize.

 Though they call it a scrub I didn't find it at all exfoliating but I will tell you this it left my skin soooooooo sooooooft. I found this mask to be a nice and calming it seems to pulsate for the first few minutes which might not be everyones cup of tea but the after math is a smooth soft moisturized skin.

I think this is a nice mask and I'm glad I got a chance to try it,  but I don't think that price tag is justified, I might repurchase the mask but only when it goes on sale.

on a random side-note....i wasn't too impressed with bath and bodyworks sale maybe the next one will  be better.

NYC NEW YORK CITY COLOR

So as you may have seen from my previous post I'm part of Influensters vox box program which sends out complimentary products to test.  I was lucky enough to get this cutie  NYC'S  liquid lipshine in my holiday VoxBox and boy am I glad it was there. First off the color I got was 582 Nude York City which is this gorgeous nude color with bits of pure pigment in it, gives this 3D effect.....

It is just the perfect color that can be worn alone or layered with your favorite nude lipsticks....How does it feel well it feels nice and soft, not sticky at all and shiny galore.

Whats even more attractive about this lipgloss beside it being a beautiful nude, contains vitamin E, super shiny, soft and non sticky is that it will cost you $2.49 ...I don't think you heard me the first time maybe I should spell it out TWO DOLLARS AND FORTY NINE CENTS and comes in TEN shades. Where can you get it? Walmart, Target, Rite Aid, CVS, Family Dollar, Duane Reade, Kmart, HEB or any other participating stores. Seriously go and pick this up. INFLUENSTER VOX BOX

So as you may already know I am an Influenster reviewer, as so I recently received my holiday voxbox and boy am I excited look how much stuff I got. Needless to say there will definitely be some reviews coming.

KICKIN IT OLD SCHOOL

I remember using this back in high school to help remove acne scars. It was so cheap and I was so broke this became one of my holy grail products. As any other product junkie I grew tired of it and started venturing out to other things and forgot about this classic...but now its back. I picked this up at a beauty supply store for $1.39, cocoa butter has natural antioxidants and is a very good natural moisturizer especially during this dryer fall and winter months. This stick is a bit firm and does need the warmth of your hand to melt but other than that its great and smell good too just like chocolate. Hey its only one dollar if your skin is a bit dry these days maybe this can help.

proactiv!

So... I was lucky enough to try out Proactiv a few weeks ago and what can I tell you about it? well for one thing its truly convenient, it comes with three products which are all things one would normally have in their everyday routine cleanser, toner and treatment. The Proactiv cleanser is a white somewhat exfoliating cleanser that leaves your skin feeling clean. The revitalizing toner I liked the most of the three its a gentle with glycolic acid and aloe that leaves a nice and smooth feel, i just swipe that on with a cotton round. Step three the repairing treatment is also quite nice, I wear this all over my face under my actual moisturizer it works pretty well.  YES! I would recommend this to anyone looking for an effective acne care kit, the 30 day 3-step system retails at $19.95 which I think is more than reasonable for three products.
