INFLUENSTER BRIDE-TO-BE BOX!

YES! its finally here. So I received my Influenster bride to be box last week and boy was I excited and why wouldn't I be I mean do you see all those full size products. This box contained:

a pair of Kiss everEZlashes (which I already love)
Dream Water
Rescue Gum (gum that actually helps with stress)
Three BC Repair Rescue products (the shampoo, conditioner and Sealed Ends their split end remedy)
AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST access to Ivy date for any single friends interested in meeting new people.
This box is great!  I will be posting follow up posts as I try out the products so keep an eye out for those.

*I received this box from Influenster for review purposes but will always maintain an honest opinion if or when I review products.

OCTOBER SAMPLE SOCIETY BOX 2012

I really dislike this month's box but I'll tell you what was inside anyway...
we got:
JANE IREDALE tantasia self tanner
(a tiny tube)

KATE SOMERVILLE
ExfoliKate intensive Exfoliating Treatment

OSCAR BLANDI
Pronto wet hair care shampoo

ERNO LASZLO
phormula 3-9 Repair Balm
(I placed it near a Sephora gift card so you could see how tiny it really is)

AROMACHOLOGY
clean & Fresh Eau de parfum
(smells so fresh and clean)

and the "special bonus"
some crappy hand sanitizing towelette from HERBAN ESSENTIALS

the only thing I like is the perfume everything else is not at all exciting. There was only one deluxe size sample in this whole box which would be the shampoo, everything else is small.
For 15 bucks this month's SAMPLE SOCIETY BOX is not worth it.

Influenster has got a new look!

I'm not sure if you've ever heard of Influenster but if you haven't WHERE WERE YOU?...... Influenster is this awesome website that anyone can join and become a member. As a member you'll be able to write and review products and for being an active member you earn badges that get you closer to getting Voxbox's (free stuff).

For those of you that already knew about Influenster it has changed, theres much more ways to know your progress and earn badges.  There is now a score which is very helpful...this way you know what level you are. Now they have changed the membership requirments, Newbies must be invited to become a member and if you are already a member you get to continue being one. Another perk is that you can do reviews on products you want to do them on, this is great because I am always getting new things now I can review em. Oh and there will be two additional badges "lifestage" and "Expert".

I love the layout and I think you should check it out so here you go: influenster.com

UNREAL candy unjunked

<img src="https://img.bzzagent.com/image/unrealCandy.jpg?Type=activity&Activity=6106959830&Campaign=1567983861&Uid=1064532&token=6c5b705a41f4f50d154a4dca9d9cca53" alt=""/>

So I tried a new candy brand called UNREAL, which makes candy without artificial's, hydrogenated's corn syrups, preservatives and GMO'S. I know what your thinking "that's the good stuff" but I stand before you a changed woman that can truly say that you do not need any of that to have a great tasting piece of candy.

Junk food doesn't have to be full of junk, If you happen to spot these I urge you to give them a try.
for more info you can check out unreal at http://getunreal.com/.

*I'm a bzzagent and  was provided with coupons  for unreal, but that doesn't change my opinion

Sally Hansen SALON EFFECTS

So I finally used my Sally Hansen nail strips that I've had for months and man do I love the outcome. I put off using them because I thought they would be too much work but it wasn't too bad. I did find it hard to fit to the shape of my nail but ultimately it turned out great.

B.T.W the nail polish I used is from Forever21 called "cypress"
the nail strips were "360 laced up"

SEPTEMBER SAMPLE SOCIETY BOX!

So I caved in and finally got one of those beauty sample subscriptions....there are so many to choose from but after looking at various blogs and youtube videos I decide that Sample society, which is associated with  Allure magazine, was the best one for me. It costs 15 dollars per month with free shipping but you do pay tax.
The box was a bit smaller than I imagined but still very exciting to get and inside was....

all neatly packaged.
This box included:

STILA SMUDGE CRAYON in Smoke

DIPTYQUE Eau de toilette fragrance
(dont like this smell at all)
BORGHESE B GLOSS in Fiore

I don't love the color  but its an okay gloss
AHAVA purifying mud mask
(which I'm kinda curious to try)
CELLCEUTICALS Extremely gentle skin cleanser
(never heard of but willing to try)

I haven't actually tested any of the products out but if any of them stand out maybe I'll do a review.
These samples are pretty decent in size... I think I'm going to like Sample Society boxes.

Paula's Choice SHINE STOPPER

Man I love this thing. first of all I have pretty oily skin which is at its worst during the summer months, so this summer I needed something that would help stop the oilies in their tracks. I tried the Murad oil control mattifier in the past and wasn't impressed it was overpriced, smelled like glue, and gave me whiteheads. So I decided to give Paula's Choice a chance and I'm so glad I did so.

The Shine Stopper is white in color but goes on clear and feels sort of powder like once applied, maybe thats what they meant by microsponge technology (written on the tube). It has no smell at all and best of all TRULY CONTROLS MY OILY SKIN. After a long day of work my oil  stays at bay for at least 6 hours without any kind of blotting. Its $21.95 for 1fl oz. tube which  is a little bit high but honestly you don't need a ton only dab it on the oily parts of your face.
